My journey started when I bought my first house in July 2004, right after my deployment. Owning my first new house was important to me but it needed MAJOR upgrading. Without any prior experience I just started tearing everything down. Although extremely overwhelming and stressful for a 23 y/o, there was no better satisfaction than to see my vision come to life.
I knew it was only a matter of time before I would have to retire from the Army, and I wanted to create a livelihood doing what I enjoy most. I remembered how much I enjoyed working outdoors and building a 12’x28’ deck at my new house in May 2017. Coincidentally, shortly after, my sister asked me to build her a 20’x20' deck. At the completion of that project, I realized this is exactly what I want to do for a living! I’ve always enjoyed being outside building decks for family and friends, so I started this company in 2020 while still serving in the U.S. Army for over 23 years.
